Camping

With five drive-in campgrounds, of which three have acessible campsites, Rocky Mountain National Park provides a variety of camping experiences. Accessible campsites are reserved for campers with disabilities until 6 PM each evening  If after 6 PM they are not filled, other campers may occupy the accessible campsite for that night only.  Campsite should be vacated by 10 AM.  Please click here CAMPGROUNDS for up-to-date information on all campgrounds.

Reservations:
Reservations for summer camping in Moraine Park (map), Glacier Basin (map), and Aspenglen (map) can be made up to six months in advance. For further information, call 888-448-1474. To make reservations call toll-free 877-444-6777 (International callers 518-885-3639).  On-line reservations are also available

Please be aware, if you need an electrical hook up for any reason, there are no electrical hook ups, water, or sewer hookups at any of the campsites in Rocky Mountain National Park.

The water is turned off in the winter at all year-round campgrounds. Drinking water is available at entrance stations and open visitor centers.

Campers with a disability and holders of America the Beautiful National Parks and Federal Recreational Access Land Passes do not have to be in an accessible campsite to receive the pass discount.  This discount applies only to the camping fee. 

Individuals with America the Beautiful Pass and Senior passes must have their pass in hand when they make their campground reservation; the discount is not retroactive.
